I'd still like to know why you have a concern about safety as there none others who I know have an abundance of knowledge about building cars and are qualified to speak about the safety aspect of those cars. Another thing is that alot of those super stocks are built by the parents of the young men who drive them so if you think that those parents don't have the safety of their kids driving those cars as their first concern then you must think those parents are idiots and need guidance from spectators like yourself.

I do not have a problem with safety............................period.
Absolutely, I don't think they are idiots, quite the opposite.

In fact, I'm saying, If you want more safety through added equipment, then you'd better not exclude speed of the vehicles. You can't sit on one side and ask for performance upgrades that increase the speeds and on the other side, wonder why more safety equipment isn't mandated but don't mention reducing speeds. And like I stated, this is all about the lower divisions.

(The term you is generic SpinDoctor, not necessarily yourself.

To clear things up and lay this to rest the postings I have made were inquiries as to what is and what isn't within the rules, unless I'm forgetting something. FromTheStands I have had the pleasure of racing at many different tracks and can assure the attitude concerning safety at Delaware Speedway is not easily paralled. The staff has made it their mission to assure that the cars are within the rules and Safe to compete. I understand your concern for the economics in racing and your wishes to see the car counts remain high and your outspokeness is surely welcomed as more fans should speak up, cause we are here to entertain you folks on the other side of the fence!
If you would like to come down one nite and be on our side of the fence you are surely welcome in our pit and we can discuss every aspect of the car, safety, economics or anything else you want. Again the sport needs more people like you and your enthusiastic attitude is very refreshing. Remember arguing isn't necessarily a bad thing, how else are youing going to get your point across?
Cheers

Thanks Jim, I am on your side of the fence. I have to tell you, there's nothing like watching the racing.

o man is it ever LOL and Dan i don't think those safety devices are necessary because I don't believe in overkill, and I don't believe in pricing guys out of divisions when there is no need for that stuff in the lower divisions. If guys want to have it, have at er', good for them. Collecting the stuff over time instead of all at once make things muuuuuuuuch easier anyways.
