Well I assume by the time I get home tonight that the rules for the season will be out there for all to digest...

The big question is not what, but how you feel the new rules will effect the track, sport, competition?? ( I can only trust thw track management when they said minimal changes, and I am sure the track does not want anyone to have to rebuild a car for a new rule)

what is your take on the latest package? ( assuming they are out as indicated on the home page)

I do hope the gray pages are still there as a good teacher can make any word mean almost aything??? Do you agree???

2010 Rules are up HERE

Have at it.

Doesn't look like they have the differences highlighted, but I only looked at SS right now, so maybe no change.

In the LM rules, it looks like they've dropped some weight for visiting LMs by about 50-75 lbs in some cases. I dunno if that's a big deal or not, but looks like they may be trying to get some of the northern guys and Kawartha guys out?

Also, in the SS rules, just after a brief scan.

This under Rearends, pg 10
For 2011 a 9” (nine) floater rear end complete with disc brakes will be allowed however a weight penalty will apply.

Under Firewalls, p 7  its changed to 22 gauge steel from 20. Everyone going to have to change theirs, or is it a typo?

I see a fair ammount of change, electrical, body, but nothing to cause any grief...

even a difinition of what is stock! Was someone on anohter thread commenting on "floppy", it is now defined...

Have a merry Christmas!

See you at the meeting?
