As a quick note regarding the weather situation for Saturday's Pumpkin Smasher:

As it stands all events are on as scheduled.  It is currently the speedway's intention to run rain or shine.

Should the status of this race change, an announcement would be made through all channels (phone system, website, facebook, twitter, press release, and here).  Competitors and fans are encouraged not to flood the speedway phone system with messages about the race status - - it is on as scheduled unless announced otherwise.

We are aware that some racers and fans may be traveling a great distance to participate in this event.  We appreciate your support.

Again, as it stands all events are on as scheduled rain or shine unless officially announced otherwise by the speedway.

We look forward to having everyone out tomorrow.  Interestingly, there were some folks camped out for it this evening, so they are certainly ready to go for tomorrow!
