Don't think it hurts to ask, but I am sure this is something the track has thought of before.  Again it goes back to the relationship with the golf course.  I am a fan of racing, but I try to think about the people who have paid a lot of money for their golf memberships and the impact of the racetrack running and their accessibility and enjoyment of their hobby.

Naysayers always present the united front to gain absolutlely nothing. I can hardly understand the time and and effort people put into things that they want to fail  ::) Wow. At any rate the options are clealy laid out vote on what you think

I don't think anyone is saying that they want your suggestion of practise days to fail.  They are just providing some history and facts to go along with your suggestion.

You want people to vote, but your questions for the poll really don't provide a fair avenue for input and results that you could take forward for proposal to the track.  If you want a poll to really work for this then the questions need to be asked in a way that provides good feedback.  JMO

The underlying tone that "it won't work" is prevelant and always there in any thread in regards to just about any topic. Let's not let history guide us and instead use the history of a given issue to help understand what is required to be changed.
I'm sure with constructive ideas and comments the officials and track ownership would look at just about any suggestion.
The poll I've set up provides a few options in an albeit humurous way giving the voters the choice to voice their opinion if they would be willing to participate in a few practise days throughout the year and if they would be willing pay for the privilage. If they choose not to want such an event to take place that option is also there to express that opinion. There is an option to even express the opinion that the would participate in such an event but prefer to be involved in an evening type setting as to not have to miss work.
I'm not sure how any other options would helpful but if you have any suggestion I'd be happy to hear them. Furthermore if anybody has taken offence to any of my comments please accept my humble apologies.
