I read somewhere MacMaster had a sale on and other people called and got prices of $3900 and $4000 for the thundercar crate. I called and was told only 6 are left in Windsor right now for $3999 plus tax.
And I dont think you would see series for thundercars at Flamboro unless it was run by the WWS guys.
BTW, Delaware dose have cars that can run with the Thunder Cars.
We call them Enduros.
Now I'm talking the good guys out there like Smith, Book, Goretz, McCullogh. These guys car will line up with the Thunder Car rules and they run dam fast.

Exactly. So, anyone considering a THCar series would do OK to look at Delaware too. We DO have the competitors...they just don't race on Friday night.

Can anyone clairify the major differences between Thunders and the Super Stocks
To my knowledge (I know Thunder Cars, Super Stocks not so much, but I have seen them race) the biggest difference is that the Super Stocks are allowed to run a four speed transmission. The Thunder Cars are not, we use automatics, mostly Powerglides, and are obviously geared differently than the Super Stocks... Delaware is a 1/2 mile oval, whereas Barrie is a 1/3 mile tri-oval... I'm sure someone will tell you some other differences, like the crate engines they use are better than ours, but our built engines would probably be pretty close (we have a crate engine avavilable, but it is not the 602 or 604, it is a truck engine that is down on power to the builts or the 602)
I was at Delaware and was very impressed with the Super Stocks. The track is very fast as the straights are longer than what I'm used to.
I have also stated that I would like to see a series for Thunder Cars, and hopefully it would be extended to us as well.
