don't delaware super stocks run the same crate engine as a limited late model?
I think they run the 602, I'm pretty sure the crates we have for LLM are the 602 (I was told a crate for LLM was about $3600), but obviously the carb and exhaust manifolds are different Spencer...

We run the 602. We're allowed the 4412 carb as well as the dorton upgraded model. Most cars run the dorton. We run ramhorns (with a weight allowance of 50lbs) or spec. headers. Single or dual exhaust 3" with magna flo mufflers.
I tried to have a quick read of your rules... We are allowed to run the 4412, ram horns are illegal, we have to use log style manifolds. Headers are illegal. We can use a 2 1/4" exhaust any configuration, "x" pipes allowed, exiting before the rear wheels, with mufflers. We can use the World Products 43600 cylinder heads, and the Eagle 5.7 rods.
I think some of our suspension rules are a little more open too... we have tubular uppers, add 1" to one lower arm, load bolts in the rear, any GM spindle / brake combo... I'm not sure how that works with your rule book.
I know your engines are going to put out some more than what we have here, but it would be interesting to see the Delaware cars and the Barrie cars run together and see how they match up, with gear changes of course... That's why I thought the series would be so cool. Cars from all tracks competing evenly, on a neutral site, like they did with Kentucky Speedway recently... Or at a number of tracks...
I would love to have the 602 in our class, reliability and power all for $3300... Somehow I don't think that will happen though.
I posted that earlier Tex, Barrie cars should run the 602/ Cheep, reliable, tech, its all win win deal. I am surprised they didnt.
