The last time i checked you have to have the car take the checkered not be in the pit thats a load of bull not 77 falt but the tracks and the way they screw everybody.
but please don't tell me about the track surface its junk already the new stuff is as wavy as water.
uptown is correct the track surface sucks worse than it was before
Superstocks were easily the best show of the evening that night. I was sorry they decided to end it early.
Agreed. Trucks were good too.
Not so good - Late Model wreckfest (the racing was good when they could keep it going more than a lap or two, 'nuff said there) and the four hour drive back to Barrie with the construction on the 401 this side of Kitchener 🙁
Same as ever, good times at a quality facility.
Amazing run by Ott - will definitely post more, but Juice Box won himself a boatload of fans tonight
I agree there Shadow, it was a hoot to see Jake out there running hard. He had a few of the best lap times too. It won't be long before he's using up some tire money doin' some burnouts!
Frankly, in light of the way the rest of the evening went, they should have let you guys race to the end. Superstocks were easily the best show of the evening that night. I was sorry they decided to end it early.
Thanks Trev.
Man, I would have LOVED 5 more laps - good position on the restart with a good car. The weather was finally beautiful so it would have been nice to have the extra 2.5 minutes of track time to go with it.
For cars that get handicapped to the back of the field, shortened races have double the impact. a) Less time on the track as a whole and b) less time to try and get to the front.
What's been created is a double-edged sword. If there are too many cautions the race gets shortened. So knowing the race could get checkered at any minute guys are anxious to get to the front as fast as possible, potentially not being as patient as normal and...
Oh well, still a fun race. See ya next week!
