Yes that is one of the small downsides to those "after shows" Took my stepdaugheter down for some autographs after the chaos race last week and most of the guys were trailered up and halfway out the door.

But...what are ya gonna do? They can't let the general public down there until the show's completely over.

sometimes you have to worry more about the idiots leaving the parking lot trying to show everyone their driving prowess (Look at me folks-"I can drive fast too") . On the way to the track though, between Lambeth and Carriage Rd on Hwy 2, a motorist in a red monte carlo went by me circa 160 in an 80 zone and sure enough was at the track & in the ticket line up ahead of me. After the races, I usually like visiting the pits to kill a bit of time & let these dim bulbs get out ahead of me.
A bit off topic but it would be nice to have the traffic kids post race to help folks out. I guess legally they can't stop traffic on Gideon road though.

I got out in 1 min when I was at Delaware a while ago, as I had a great spot and people let me in.

People seemed to be nice and letting people in once you made eye contact but there was a few people that just put into drive and didn't care if the person in line to get out saw them as they were coming.

Was great today, out in 10 minutes after the Mods, and home in 90!!!!

I was surprsied today actually at how quick it was to move from the top down to the pit entrance.  I have also noticed this year, that everyone has been extremely patient and courteous.  Perhaps Friday night was an issue because of the "non-regular" crowd at the track or just the larger than usual crowds.  Perhaps Friday was just an unusual occurrence.
