I'd imagine it's damn-near impossible, but it'd be interesting if the Beiderman Memorial was a SLM-invitational rather than an OSCAAR event.

I was at the OSCAAR race on Sat. night. It was okay- more action in the Delaware Thunder Car feature. Car count for OSCAAR was okay. However, you ever changed the rule at the last minute to not pay the drivers a towing fee is ridiculous. How do they want this series to keep going. The long haul out there (for many at least 3 hours)tank of gas and having to pay $30 to get into the pits and food and accomodations, if you crashed in the heats and couldnt make it in the features (there were a couple of guys) you received $0.00. Not worth the effort.
At this pace, this series will soon vanish like the rest....

Unfortunately for the drivers, it was one of the sponsors who pulled out their money last minute, it was not the decision of the Oscaar Officials.
Some of what is being said on here is incorrect.

gotta agree with sharpie, loved the osscar show, obviously more cars would have been nice, but with the supposed in fighting, the cost of competing not to mention the cost of a slm, it was great. these types of cars have a rich history in ontario would hate to lose them. looking forward to the next don biederman memorial!
