Couldn't find the thread in regards to previous OSCAAR events so I started this one. What can I say?? Great job. Fat cars, sharp equipment, talented drivers. I was impressed.
Those that choice to miss this show missed a good one.
Support classes entertained, as expected, but OSCAAR delivered a race to build from. It was worthy of its Memorial title.
Thank you drivers, teams, staff of OSCAAR.
i heard in the stands that the extra money got pulled because of someone opening there mouth..there would of been 25 or so cars there if the management of oscarr would changs...15 cars is crap for delaware/ good race but needed car count..next time a sponcer wants to give the drivers 400.00 each tell the management to shut there mouth instead of trying to control the money..
is that so Hurricane would love to know where you get your info from!Oscaar hasnt had 20 cars yet this year and as far as the sponsor goes dont say anything unless you know everything instead of idiotic rambling in the stands!
there was a sponsor that was going to pay out $400 to every driver in the race, and due to certain conflicts with the management that was no longer the case. i would imagine recieving at least $400 just for starting the race would bring out some more cars.
After witnessing that race and tech lane after, it's no surprise they pulled out.
Delaware officials weren't impressed with the calls during and after the race.
I guess that is why 61, 49 and 89 aborted. Who is next ???
Well will soon find out....
