Thanks for posting this Trev, very cool! I remember the track and followed it in Wheelspin and Car Weekly but never got there for a race.

A friend of my father's died there in the 60's driving a hobby car. I think his name was Flock from New Hamburg.

Yep Thanks Trev for the memories My step dad drove the Meat Wagon there and at Delley back then. From what I can remember it was Awesome

Great memories!  Cut my teeth on that track in Hobby cars, then "rat racers",  went on to help run the place for a couple of seasons for mini stocks and Diamond cars. Got a "joke" trophy as Favourite announcer back then, used to call the races, then run down the hill, jump in my car run the race, park at the finish line and run back up to "comment" on the race while my "crew" took the car back to the pits.  What a hoot, I'd have a heart attack if I tried that now.
