Cue the rightous indignation gallery!! Someone slagged the Delaware management!! 😮
o boy we have some intelligent posts going on ::) how are they suppose to put the syrup down on the high line when cars are going around the track? they are syruping the high line the next 2 weeks, so it's a TEMPORARY stop to it.
I was told on Friday the syrup is suppose to be put down in the morning and the more laps that are turned on it the better it will be. I hear what your saying about the practising at the same time its being applied. Why not put it down in the morning, let guys practise in the afternoon on it this may help it do whats its suppose to do.
I think the people who make it would be the ones to ask about whats best for it instead of making suggests that have no foundation...thats my personal opinion.
Delaware has been trying to do the impossible and keep every body happy. I know that when the coke syrup was used for indoors it was applied the night before and more laps run the better for results.
Delaware has been trying to be flexible and work WITH teams for a mutual benefit by allowing people who request it the chance to run laps now only teams with a bunch of extra cash will get that (not totally fair either). I know that not everybody can get off work early but what about the people who work midnights and show up for work late after the races perhaps we should move the whole program ahead a couple hours to make it fair for them or change around what day the races are during the week to help those with rotating shifts just to keep it fair for everyones schedule. Of course now that that option will be gone I guess it doesn't matter.
As for calling them unprofessional I hope they don't overcompensate by acting "professional" like last years super series and what I have seen of the canadian tire series (haven't been onsite for a race this year) a non stop day of BS and stupid little games that amount to nothing as well as a clique type information system.
