Notingtolose has it right. It was an extra switch. They kept the win, but payout went back into the points fund, and 50 pts for a second infraction. (the other was last year)
It was deemed "illegal but not necessarily performance enhancing", so it wasn't a full DQ.

Having known Sid the kid for some time I doubt it very much he would "hide " an extra switch that would not or could not be "performance enhancing"

I had to read this a couple times just to understand what was said, but yes you are right. The 5 truck was slow, but again it was only the first race. Cut him some slack.

This has and will always be one of the most exciting divisions to watch, anychance we can get thes on the web?? BUT..
(tech has to get a handle on the cheaters and bring them all back in line before it is too late. My brother told me that one of sids crew guys is now working in tech??? and they find a hidden switch?? makes you wonder does it not??)
My two cents worth for what it is worth ..
As a suggestion, how about increasing the length of these races ( street stock and trucks) to 35 laps.. or the last 5 have to be under green?? ( only two shots at this as some nights with a full moon would go on and on)
Hope to be able to post from over seas, but please keep the stories coming as all most in my division although not from the local area have become fans of Delaware.. ( some are planning a visit when we return, and would like to know if they have a special date for troops who have served?)

smithbarney there is no body from sids crew working for tech right now, how do I no you ask , well lets see I'm his brother. and the reason why the switch was there all it is a secondary ignition power switch it has nothing to do performance enhancing by NOO means
