BTracing28 and Shadowracer have put it perfectly imo.
The offseason scuttle butt seems to be more positive than in years past to me. Its all about a positive vibe for the speedway, if we as racers enjoy going to track again the folks on the hill will sense that and start telling their friends about the place again. I can only imagine how overwhelming the task of taking over the speedway has been for the new management, but imo they have done a fine job. The payouts look to be the same if not a bit better, rules seem to be cleaned up and talks of speedway improvements can all be seen as nothing but positive. Have you all seen the contingency decal packages? They appear to be healthier than I remember pre-nascar sanctioning.
I can say talking to fellow competitors the past few weeks, everybody is pumped and looking forward to what should shape up to be one of the best seasons in recent memory.

finally!  thanks guys for bringing back some positive comments on this board. I totally agree, its up to the owners, drivers and fans to make a success out of every track.  We all have to work at it and support it the best we can to make sure it stays around. Nice to hear from drivers and groups like Jay & BT. It's a little more reassuring to hear that they are excited for the coming season.  Lets hear from some more of you guys about the season.  It's not too far away.

Yes your right racer43, BTracing28 and Shadowracer have put it perfectly.  This year is going to be very exciting, and it's up to everyone to help and make this year great.  Let's do it.  Let bring people that havn't ever been.  Let show them racing is better then going to see a movie or just sitting at home.  Let's show them what an great, no, what an awesome group of race teams we have, and put on an awesome show for the fans!!  

Stop looking at the negative, as there is none!  When the track decides to do something, they will tell us, they do that a lot.  John likes his press releases and does a great job at informing the public.  To the new owners, congratulations on the new tasks at hand, and thank you.  I can't imagine running the speedway, there are so many factors that have to come together to have a great show.  But you guys have been in other businesses for a long time, so I am very confident you will do well. 

I do like that they are approachable and they are active in the business this year.  Thanks for talking to me at meetings, and listening to our requests, and giving us an opportunity to be heard.  It's about time!

All we need to do and pray every weekend is sunny and 24 degrees.  

I can't wait to get this season started!!!
