PC, I think that there are far greater human rights issues that you could be focusing your attention on, besides a short track paying extra prize money to increase diversity.

You are probally right that their are more egregious human rights violations in Ontario then the one we are discussing now . However we are discussing the one that potentially could effect me down the road if policies like this were implemented into regular Saturday night racing . I believe this is the proverbial "slippery slope" and should be stopped in its tracks .

25_JLM_13hp  for the sake of argument lets say i agree with you that a male driver should be paid $ 600 for a win and a female should get $ 1100 for a win in the name of diversity .  Would you be OK with paying Black drivers more then White drivers ? Would you be OK with paying Muslim drivers more then Christian drivers ?  Call it anything you want a Black bonus or a Muslim bonus  are you good with that in the name of diversity ?

Just wondering ?

Your post makes no sense Mobil1fan . The fact is if Jack wins he gets $ 600 if Jill wins she gets $ 1100 . I don't know what you do for a living but i think i will go with what the lawyer told me .

No, the fact is if Jack wins he gets $600 and if Jill wins she gets $600 plus a $500 bonus (of which she meets the qualifications) and legally that makes all the difference in the world.

mobil two people are working at the same job one female one male, whoever sells the most cars gets a bonus of $500 but if you are a male you get a $1000 and a female would get the $500, would this be alright with you? same theory and 100% agaisnt the charter

I'm okay with that, but in all fairness, I'm not in racing to make money. I'm in racing to race, and if paying extra to certain groups of people brings extra competitors and better racing, then I am all for it.
