The suggestion by SS33 is it viable ?
JMO..........going to all built sounds like a expensive monkey c monkey do to me non rebuilt creates are cheaper but if it has to b built then I say use VORTEC heads and a spec parts list .kinda like a homebuilt create...........as far as bodies wouldn't it b cheaper to use steel factory only bodies and get rid of the body must match frame type rule then any body on in a field or scrap yard could be used and wouldn't that give a huge variety of bodies for fans to see
Sid was offering bodies for $1000 and how many new cars did we get...none. It's not the bodies that is the issue. It's money plain and simple. In my mind if we shift things a little we can improve the show. Steve Smith is a prime example of how it should be done as he has made the jump quite successfully and he does very well. If we want to get the division stronger for next year we need to know what rules package is going to look like NOW not in February or March. I think we need to be able to take a Camaro enduro and about $3000 or so dollars and make a Super Stock out of it. That along with some gentle encouragement and we could probably grow the diviision to reasonable numbers.
I'm not slighting anybody here, I'm expressing my Ideas, I'm not trolling or trying to rock the boat. We do need to be proactive rather than reactive.
Really if I had a crate powered enduro how much do you think it should cost to get it to a reasonable Super?
I can agree with JWO that the time is now to work the rules packages, it offers time to work out the $ aspects, the availability of specified parts, intertrack relations that can be added to lineups and be as far as you can be on the same page. The more time available also would lend to shopping for better deals than last minute forced deals along with the work.

Actually, in several cases, just a set of hoosiers.
Its all about the time and funds available. If you can race once a month on a Sat. and leave with all the money, why would you race every friday night?
The enduro guys are not going to step up unless you force them, and then you'll only get 1/2 of them.
It might be time to really slow the SS down. If you get the SS or the trucks going any faster then they are now, start writing them off at a rate of one per week, or increase your budget to start beefing up more stuff.
Sid was offering bodies yes for $1000 to Delaware guys to help out and how many new cars sold... 9 from the sale one more left at $ 1000 and next five will be $1500. It was a four week sale only....
