Truck guy it also gives #4 the advantage as well, and as for Delaware we all no the outside is not the place to be. It's so bad some nights we might as well start downfinger all the way back. That being said the track is what is and we have to do our best to put on the show the fans want. More fans equal more Revenue which means track repairs and upgrades.

Fair enough. And I did race 95 laps, was in second on the outside for the final restart in the spring. Finished 3rd. I dont like where the restart line is for NCATS. Use the line thats in turn 4., and no shifting. I never liked the 1-2-3 then double up procedure. It gives the top 3 an advantage on the restarts, and nobody else.

apples and oranges comparing starting 2nd in that series vs. some of the friday night stuff though

Ya Jim, I thought about 4th right after I posted, and youre right. The track does suck for the outside groove, but its the same for every car and driver out there. I personally feel that double file is more exciting to watch as a fan. I see the Mods are doing it this year too.

Yeah it would be a show more of a wreckfest though there would be an issue with not being able to get a lap in because someone would just shovel for the bottom regardless of what is there. The restart line would work if they fixed ther very issue they have now with the starts and that is officiating.  Put a stop to the poor starts and brake checking with the black flag and get tough on it. Even single file starts can be good if the racers know that the pace would pick up consistently and smoothly and that if they failed to do so bumper to bumper lineups are the only way they will be allowed to start. Sloppy starts where people get away with brake checks and laying back and scrambling before the line are all caused by a lack of enforcement over the last few years and I had hoped that personell changes over the winter would have helped to fix that but I was wrong.

Yah but you better not not turn him if backs into or you'll get the black
