Well I can't say that dumping the leader was a real bright spot on the #72 part, but in saying that you are going to get spun from time to time. That's just short track Racing!!! Nobody racing can say they have never had it happen to them, and even spun someone else before. But running into someone in the pits, that's just wrong. There are way to many people around. The #29 car could have easily push that car into the trailer and pinched someone legs or worse. All over a Feature win, Trust me I have been there but you don't let it carry over into the pits. I think the #29 carry should be parked for a couple races, To start off the 2010 season. That's what I would do as a track owner, You need to show the driver, stuff like this will not carry over into the pits.

I've raced with Marty for years... He's a good guy.

Rightly or wrongly, the 29 blocked the 72 and even ran into him when he tried to go around him. Where I come from you get a tap or two to pick a lane and then you get dumped. Maybe some people like this mirror driving blocking stuff, but I don't.

I don't think this guy has made any friends north of Hwy 7 and should probably stay home at Slamboro for any Invitationals. I have even less interest now in EVER going to that track for anything, if that's what it's like. ZERO RESPECT for out of towners...

The other crap with driving a race car into a competitors car... Well if you set foot on another guys pit pad... You're gone immediately. In my opinion the 29 should be gone for life, if not MINIMUM 1 year... That's worse than assaulting someone at their pit.

To be honest, I don't think the events on the track even have any bearing on what happened afterward. Whether or not 29 was wronged or not is irrelevant.

The Flamboro brass has a decision to make. The video is out there for all to see, so there's no question of "he said she said"  The guy directed his kid to do it, (which is mind boggling enough on its own...must have been a great house to grow up in.) And then the son deliberately ran into a parked car.

I've been in a pit area or two, and a pretty good lot of the time, when a car pulls in off the track and comes to a stop...someone gets down on bended knee to check the tires. The 29 car had no way of knowing whether or not someone was down beside the car on the drivers side or not.

Now, I'm a firm beleiver in "boys will be boys' and racing is an emotional game and sometimes guys get mad. Even a little shoving match doesn't bother me. But this is unbelievable.

So the question becomes this: does Flamboro Speedway endorse this kind of redneckish-ness or does it not?

By not suspending the both of them, (Sr and Jr) the track is telling eveyone that they condone this kind of stuff. And if that be the case, would anyone be able to take Flamboro seriously after that?

And people say to us "How come you drive all the way to Delaware to race?" The root cause of garbage like that is the track and it's officiating but the behaviour is inexcusable, and untolerable
