My point was they're not as bad for fan counts as you suggest they are week-to-week. There's naturally room for improvement, but the crowds look virtually the same as they have in past seasons under past management teams and owners.
I think as well there is room for improvement and I don't think it would take all that much to accomplish.
We just took a road trip to South Buxton so we could watch Hooker race in the dirt with his late model.
And let me tell you if you have met Hooker you would understand him alittle better after that trip. Those cars are awesome and he drives the wheels off that thing and there is a good chance you need to be alitle crazy to strap in one of those things.
Massive horsepower lots of passing great racing and a couple of beers after the event and you have yourself a great experience
The race were wrapped up just after 11pm and they start at 7pm
They had 4 classes with heats and features as well as a pursuit for a couple of classes and a top eight dash for the others.
They had a intermission that was about 15 mins long where they threw out Tshirts for the fans and Frisbees from the local radio station.
All and all I have to say leaving I never felt for a minute I didn't get my moneys worth at 15.00 for enterance. To be totally honest I would have paid more for the show.
I think that maybe if Delaware would look at some of these little things the shows there would be so much better.
Get Kids excited and involved nothing works better then a kid wanting to go to the races and constantly asking for you to take them.
You might see you attendance go up because parents might just bring the kid so he or she will shut up.
