I went last night and just got home. It was a great show especially for the money, BUT their was only 9 races total. 2 Heats in each Division times 3 Divisions, and than on to their Features. I figured they were running inverted heats but they didn't? So each car ran 1 heat and than their Feature. Nice facility though. Get Well Bob.
Delaware only ever runs one set of heats per division
Nice facilty yes but if there is one problem at this track is that as Smokinjoe7 said only 9 races a night is that worth the dollar charged.Take a look at the crowds this year with exception of the 2 for 1 night the crowds have been down(money avaiable for fans to spend is a big reason but total races for a night is a possibilty also.Look at other tracks what they offer for the dollar(in most cases more racing)which is what the racefan wants.Hopefully Delaware management takes a good look at this possible problem.Always remember the fan &drivers as they pay the bills.
Have you been to any of the races there this year?
Kawartha only runs one set of heats as well, although they do have a semi feature for the top heat finishing cars. I think Flamboro only runs one set as well, although I only attend specials there occasionally. Looking forward to the 300. 40 cars ? ;D
Mobil I have been to Delaware 3 times this year late Models were running each night.Good shows done approx 10:15 P.M. What I am saying is that this is with only 3 divisions which equals 9 races same as Friday 2 for 1 Look at other tracks they offer 4 divisions in some case 5 divisions (Flamboro ) in a night for racing. This track Delaware gets done most nights early enough to get another division in.This is just a suggestion.
