agreed tommy....it is actually nice sometimes to see drivers have to race to actually get into a feature...and one difference between dirt and pavement, if you dont get in the feature on dirt u get no money..nothing..zip..most pavement tracks pay tow money..heck varney pays $50 tow...

It sucks that people equate big fields with good shows cause it just isn't the reality.

While that is a valid argument, having a larger field does make heat races and b-mains (if needed) more entertaining...and just because there is a larger field somewhere, it doesn't mean half the field sucks. It is possible to have quantity AND quality.

That said, comparing Delaware and Ohsweken is comparing apples to oranges. Not necessary in this thread.

No one ever said it's not possible to have quantity and quality but apparently some think without quantity there is no quality.  And that implies that the teams and drivers at Delaware put on a crappy show because of the numbers at Delaware are lower then at Osheweken.

Can't speak for all dirt tracks, but that's not true at Ohsweken. All Sprint Cars that take a green flag in a heat race get at least $100.

Lets see if we can get it back on track by talking about the SS race which was probably the best one so far this year especially when you consider the main players and what transpired the week before. Am I the only one that thinks that ???

your not the only one, that was a great finish and I'd like to know how JR's car worked so well on the outside groove that doesn't exist. I'm not saying Darrell had an easy time on the outside and he drove the tires off that car to get around on the outside on final laps. Is there any video on that finish?
