totally agree - a good night, with lots of good racing in all divisions. a real pity about the 5 car though as he had driven an excellent race and was on his way to probably his best finish of the season until the 22 drove through him on the last lap
the absolute bonehead move of the night though had to be the 4 car. when the red came out following the big wreck at the start of the second lm feature, he drove all the way from the front straight around to the back and into the pits. why was he not immediately put on the trailer??? there were lots of cars with alot worse damage who did stop and wait on the track. inexcusable.
Did you catch the way he sort of tried to blame it on the track when he got called on it?
Also during that red flag tire change, someone told me they'd actually put the tire on backward...had to pull it off and put it on again.
I had lots of fun. Good to meet you friday, Shadow. I felt the show was good for the money. (pit entrance of $35 with membership) Due to the order of the night, I finally got to watch the supers, and the 2nd late model race. I went up top after the truck feature, and it was great!

Likewise! Now you just got to get me a win to write about.
And yeah the race lineup actually worked out in your favor which was kind of nice. Noted a number of SS faces on the hill too on Friday night. Smith of course had his machine on display up top, The Richmonds were actually on Richmond Row, and Rabideau almost had a front row seat to me going ass-over-teakettle down the grass in front of the grandstands.
