OK, the BBQ's out of the way. Talk1290 was there, Jesse Kennedy had his machine. There was an open wheeler there, and I understand that Urlin was there earlier in the day. Also rounding out the field was a couple micros and a mini truck. Great hotdogs, balloons for the kids, simulator rides...fun fun fun....but boy was it hot!
Good job and a shout out to Partsource. Thanks for both putting on the event, and for keepin' the AC cranked in the store!

I think the announcers are doing a great job, but please get rid of the stupid clown. I have not talked to anyone yet who enjoys this clown. Have him serve beer or burgers and let him dress in his goofy little outfit but for gad sakes keep him off the mic he is driving me crazy.
I've heard a lot of great things about Hoppy. I think his enthusiasm adds a lot to the atmosphere of the track. Between the birthday club and interaction on the concourse, he’s bringing back a lot of fan interaction that might have been missing the last few years.
You ever try talking to Hoppy? The dedication of fans like Hoppy to the success of the Speedway is what this industry needs more than ever. I feel they deserve our support and constructive suggestions on how to make things better as opposed to broad-based criticism of “the stupid clown”. ::)
I will try to be more constructive. KEEP THE CLOWN OFF THE MIC or at least get him to stop screaming into the dam thing. Here is a suggestion does he have unicycle or can he juggle, you know those things clowns do. Who knows maybe here is an elephant trainer that is also a fan of the race track, and he can bring his elephants out for the APC 300.

Without a doubt, Hoppy is adding to the show. I've had people comment on how they love it for the kids while they are waiting for the show to start.
