This is a thread for chitchat regarding the Partsource 140 on Friday June 29 at Delaware.
From the last paragraph of this week's Delaware.com report:
The next race event at Delaware Speedway is this Friday, June 29 - The PartSource 140 presented by Country Favourites BX93. We hope all fans will wear red & white colours as part of HOPPY'S CHALLENGE! Also don’t miss the PARTSOURCE PRE-RACE BBQ on Tuesday leading up to the main event.
I think its exciting that Partsource is going with this, and I think Tuesday at their store should be fun, sort of like when they used to do the thing at the pub leading up to the CASCAR Labor day race.
So...anyone have any predictions? Guesses as to who's gonna invade?
Shaw was out this past Friday...and if I read my GRR Magazine correctly, Delaware's allowing Flammy guys to use their home track tires for this event, so hopefully it opens things up a bit to newcomers.
Thoughts? Opinions?
is linc brown going down considering he is sponsored by parts source ?
I was in Partsource in London today, first at the Dundas St Location to fill out some ballot to win some VIP, they didnt know anything about it... They said go to the Wharncliffe store. I got the feeling they werent too enthused about the program, quite the opposite at the Wharncliffe rd store where the actual Pre Race party is well advertised and the Ballots were available and the staff were friendly and explained the program. Certainly a good prize, $500 in Partsource Gift certificates if someone can predict the winner of the Partsource 140. Getting to throw the Green flag, giving the call to Start the engines is pretty neat too. I filled out about 10 ballots. (when the staff werent looking)
I will be there Tuesday when the draw happens at the Pre Race Party to claim my Prize...
I'm really looking forward to the pre-race BBQ. People always say there should be more events leading up to the big races, now they get their wish! Hopefully lots of fans will show, and possibly even better would be the general public showing up to have a look! ;D

Well, I hope they bring the kids. Was talking to the track clown and he said he'd be there too making balloon twisties and such. Should be fun for all. Hotdogs, balloons and hot race cars...what could be a better way to spend a Tuesday evening?
