if you have an invitational just set home track rules for the first one just too see if there is any interest....maybe a bonus for top 16 valve, 8 valve and 12 valve , which ever doesnt win....the main goals would be to see how many show, what types of cars, how safe the cars are built as some tracks rules on cage and welding diff, and just see how a bunch of them do run out there together...the first one would be a "feeling out race" anyways because alot wont have the right gear or tires or setup...as for carnage, i think nascar has a division of cars this size running daytona and the carnage is just as bad as the big one..lol...but safety of course would be a priority and it should be posted that cars would be throughly inspected before hand and that cars with poor cages, no padding and improper seats wont be allowed on the track.
i think if you had one or 2 invitationals a year that could be the start of another great tradition.

I would recommend if you want to have a full field...do it on a friday night and invite 2 track's entire divisions...pay tow money....and do something like maybe travel point bonuses? I know we did it with your trucks a few years ago! Everyone at Barrie still wants them back, they put on a helluva show!

That's actually not a bad idea, seeing as both tracks are under the nascar banner... be nice to see them work together, have a weekend where 2 divisions "flip"  Barrie Mini's run at Delaware & the Delaware Trucks run at Barrie.
