I have been thinking about this one for a while simply have them run the front stretch and pit road
all that would need to be done is to build out a removable extender the the pit road entrance/exit so they are not making sharp hair pin turns

Or even a yellow line, because we all know, racers will never go below the yellow line, would they?
🙂
History shows that 4 bangers don't work well at Delaware. The entertainment value of the traditional heat/heat/feature format just wouldn't be there.
However, if they were to get creative with the division there might be some potential...say run them with a 20 lap feature instead of heat races, then do a complete invert and do it again for the feature...that might be interesting. I'd like to see an invitational where they did something like that. Try that one night when the LMs are off and it might be fun.
Problem is (and its a nice problem to have) that Delaware has enough cars without needing to start up a new division.
OK OK here's my kick at the cat. You could run the Ministocks with the enduros on Satrurday events. They are entertaining as all heck at Flamboro. They are for the most part very talented drivers well capable of putting on a show. We could test a few different scenerios say during the week as you'd be hard pressed to get any of them show for a test on a saturday. The "established racers could verify if in fact a 4 cylinder division is doable. If it proves to work then establish the division and see what interest there is in it. I mean every body loves the king of the hill!! At any rate lets give these a guy's some credit there is talent in the four banger ranks. I don't think you will see too much carnage
im with jwo on that one i ran the minis last year at flamboro that was the greatest racing fun i have had in a starter class if delaware presented it right and advertised weeks in advance i can get a few guys to come down and give a invitational a shot
