Endurance racing was supposed to be a bit of a freak show. (like the Chaos Cars) $25 buck bonus if you rolled it on the frontstretch, and you saw guys that had weird stuff like duck decoys bolted to the roof to make them stand out. Studebakers, station wagons, and Monte Carlos all on the track at the same time and if you spun out you were stuck there till the race was over. That to me was Endurance racing.

We had ducks on our V6 car, because it was painted green and yellow. Makes me laugh someone remembered this LOL.
