interesting the 442 option was only a 800+ run and now that you mention it I have only seen one of those back in the eighties. Hmmm if you move up you can buy another motor. You don't have to allow anything out of normal. That's exactly how all these division's end up they way they do. There is a magic word, it's called NO. I talk to the young guys in the enduros and some of them really struggle to stay in this thing. They spend everything they have on them, usually getting help from family. I give allot of stuff to these guys, stuff we don't use. That was the intention of Enduro along time ago.
Anyway I'm not trying to piss in anybodies porridge, but if you can allow something you can just as easily disallow something. I hope John get this 4cyl FWD stuff off the ground, the kids need something reasonable to try. Hmmm wonder If I can find a Cosworth Vega engine?

I was talking the COST was 305 dollars..... I shouldn't type so fast. go check pricing for Mopar vs. chevy in any modification,, the average blue collar guy will tell you it's seriously higher.

My hope is eventually see this class not have obstacle cars, and become a legimate runner. The first one is for show, and hopefully it takes off. I love Enduro, and have been around it for two decades off and on. I do remember making a car for about a thousand bucks, and went faster with some used parts from friends/cheap perf.-parts.
Now Enduro is Thunder-Junior, on DOT tires, and I still love it. But the fact remains, that Delaware needs an entry level other than Chaos. Many drivers want the roundy-round without the barrel turns. Chaos has become very exciting, and actually really fun to watch. I am glad the track kept with it, and that GAW helped them out. But we definitely need the legit runs for the long term.

I am sure there's loads of testimony to entry level in other tracks. How many guys started a bomber/4CYL car, and were going to the track, watched the big guys and somehow put one together? It's just how it works, and it brings new blood in.
