i think a 23.0 would be good enough. we run like 24.9-23.6 so we aren't that far off.

24.5 is probably just the first offer.

Like everything else, throw it out there (sometimes as a rumour) then work with everyone to come up with a number (etc.) that most everyone can live with.

Just being nosey, but I think 23.5 is probably as fast as that division needs to be and remain safe

I was just looking at the Enduro Nationals for last year and 22 of the 66 cars out there ran faster than 24.5. I would also have to say out of the guys that diden't run under that there were a few that very well could have.  24.5 may just be alittle to high. May lose a few drivers from the division if this is the case. Being that we raced back in the 90's when there were close to 200 cars this may not be the best # for the class.  Slow the big guys down not half the class.  Just my opinion.

Sounds like oval bracket racing to me. What is the point of this? To save the track money on tech? Why not just have the track install rev limiters and have a gear rule. I hear what people are saying about getting too fast and keeping the competition closer and safe but if you hit a setup and play by the rules why the hell shouldn't you be able to run as fast as you can. This is racing right? I know I don't drive and probably don't know what I am talking about but this just seems wrong to me.
