Sounds like John is doing a great job on getting things covered.
I agree. I've been a bit of a non entity here for a while, but this whole thing is an excellent, and necessary idea. You get something the average Joe can get in on and you'll have success. Heck this is something high school guys can get in on. Congrats!
(Hoppy already has the date marked on his calendar! 🙂 )

Thanks Jim -- but it's easy to look like I'm doing a good job when there's such strong interest for the event! Another handful of inquiries today. Jim, I am looking into your helmet inquiry.
Because of the high-demand for information on the event, I have retooled the information page. It now includes the ability to register your entry online (along with some incentives for doing so), has a version of the rulebook that can be read without opening Adobe reader, and also releases the awaited demo derby invitational rules. Lots of pictures and interactive links in those rules. The section is located here: http://www.delawarespeedway.com/race-season/pumpkinsmasher.
All the best,

I would like to see some Crew chiefs and car owners and team members out there. I'm trying t osee how much money I can scrape up to get a car in this thing!
Have you come up with a track configuration yet? maybe a chicane in the corners? ....Lordy that would almost be as fan as covering the track with dirt!!!!
john the track really needs to work on getting the line going faster on the top....ive beeen to lots of tracks and delaware is the slowest by far ......almost 20 mins in line when it should maybe been 10 at the most .....i know by your tickets online but with weather and my own car to get ready for sat....most of the time its a last min thing like alot of ppl.....just needs to be tweaked a little ....work on it buddy .....or i can go in that little room and yell that will get them going ...lol
