This video gets me all misty!! I remember when Booky ran that big Monte, and magically showed up with a Camaro some years later.... good memories.

Humberstone had the first place car ran into the last place car on the initial green flag, You had people in the infield waiting to change your tire that was in the trunk!!...Dam i wish I could remember these guys that came over from the US, they were regulars in the "bomber" class a Merritville Speedway. Back in in-line six cylinder days. Arnie Blanchard would whip you up one killer cylinder head for about $750, then you just used wrecking yard pulls for your short block!!!
Good times when allot of people were true fans of the short track, they were spots in the stands that were custom worn to the asses that claimed them week in and week out!!
