i was disappointed that non showed myself, but i was told some got wrecked the last nite at delaware?
they missed a great chance to help their class cuz there were alot of positive comments and questions about where they race and why they havent been before...plus 2 former flammy drivers gave the the home track fans, all 150, someone to cheer for...

Where were all the Delaware mods last night??? McLean's run 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

I'm sorry that you didn't see more than 1 delaware modified. There was 4 cars still wrecked that definitely couldn't make it. The 39 and 82 were wrecked last night of year and 54 race before. Former Open wheel champ had his car out for 2 nights and got involved in a wreck. Delaware did not have many cars this year except for a few invitationals on saturdays. I was at the flamboro race to watch and believe the cold weather and bad feelings and ocurrences had alot to do with attendance. Some of the drivers and crew members were working at the Ford Talbotville plant and are now laid off or on unemployment or now working in Ford Oakville Plant. Another driver is back in school in North Carolina. I really like the modified division and hope it continues in 2012. At Delaware I believe they will get cars on Saturday nights as they did on sept4 and maybe better suited for a short race schedule or a travelling points series between the Varney, Mosport and Delaware Modifieds. Feel free to expand on the Modifieds. Haven't seen much posted lately.
