Stock GM means exactly that, but with some rules being ""Bent"". It is no secret, that these cars are usually cammed, flat topped, so on. These are easily argued out with GM part numbers. Corvette pistons, Camaro camshafts, 441 heads 041's I could go on. Research your parts before you complain, everyone does it, why aren't you.

I wasn't complaining about these cars, if you think this thread was. I was merely stating what I need to do to be competitve. You are right, these cars are spectacular to watch, and race against. It just means we need to work harder.

I will not say my older chassis' didn't have alot of the above mentioned mods 😉

You make some great points here!!Do your homework, its something the complainers dont do,most of the time!!

the top 5 cars are more then stock they are basically street stock cars from 5 years ago, just for instance look at the 15 car i no for a fact that he has around 5800 to 6000 in his motor. enduro is supposed to be a stock car for the make and model that you run, and some of these top cars that keep winning there is supposed to be a 50 lb weight penalty do you think delaware accually inforces that and if they do, do they let you put the weight were ever you want it, all I am saying enduro should be stock all cars shuold all around the same lap times so it gives a chance you are going out there to beat others drivers and not spending so much money to beat their car

While we dont know if Delaware does or not I do know that it is 50lbs for each consecutive race won, SO the 15 only had 2 back to wins this years thus only 50lbs to be added

This quote from the Enduro rule book should fix the expensive motor problem. $900.00 for a $6000 motor, that will do it.

7. ENGINE CLAIM:
a) $900.00 cash claim on all engines. $100.00 goes to management for pulling engines ($50 each engine).
b) Claim does not include: flywheel, carburetor, starter, motor mounts, senders & switches, fan & pulleys, water pump,
fuel pump, distributor & wiring, & exhaust manifolds.
c) Top 4 finishers are subject to engine claim by any driver finishing a minimum of 50% of designated feature-race laps.
Engines must be same make (i.e., SB Chev for SB Chev, BB Ford for BB Ford, etc.). Carbureted engine for carbureted
engine, fuel-injected engine for fuel-injected engine. Driver making claim must have an engine in good operating
condition (to be determined by technical Official in charge). Multiple claims on same engine will go to qualified driver
finishing furthest back.
