Ernie

the 78 car is for sale, both jordan and myself will be running full time at Delaware in 2013. We are just looking to move forward together as a team. So i guess what im saying is next year all depends on if someone scoops up this deal.

sidedog

if you are looking for something this is a good deal and if you are planning on coming to delaware we could give you some pointers from what we learned running this car there. if not there is lots of good stuff and most stuff will go from track to track depending where you wanna run.

Yetti

im with dougy and if you measure things to true you could always use a level but after reading i wonder if you have ever tried to build a car yourself. Yes if you do it yourself its not a tubed jig clip but whats the point of racing if your not having fun. Building your own car, while it may not be perfect, is as good as the research and time you put into it. if you like to buy your cars do so maybe you should avoid bashing guys from a track you dont run at. and building chassis builder saying they built slm for ss (pretty sure if you read a rule book they are within rules). Just my opinion take it how you want.

Good to hear Kris. Tough putting the Nova up for sale though I bet. I always pull for the iron horses  ;D

I would be very surprised if someone got mad at you Yetti? Nothing like hiding behind a screen name on here and babbling on and on about how racing is completely screwed up... Why dont you take all the time you are wasting on here and go to the tracks with your ideas and save racing for all of us?

Racing is a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Some like to have others build, setup and maintain their cars. Some like to try and do it themselves. Maybe those that are DIYers dont win as much but I bet they have just as much if not more fun actually learning what it takes to make a car go faster than those that write checks all season and have a bunch of dust collectors sitting by their unbalanced check books. Having said that I can think of cars that pour the money at it and still cant get out of their own way. At the end of the day it takes a driver that can communicate what the car is doing and a crew that can make the changes needed to make the car do what the driver wants it to do.

IMO there is no right or wrong, its a matter of what you can afford and what knowledge you do or dont have. Either way hobby racing is suppose to be fun and if its not fun than step up and figure out why. If the conclusion you come to is that without more money and better equipment you cant make it fun. Than come up with money or find another hobby.
