I kinda like the ABC style rules package...it would only work with a big car count...another option is a variation of this (maybe call it an Outlaw SS class)...one class with a base set of rules..but a list of things you can run and weight penalties for each upgrade...in theory you could run a SLM as an Outlaw SS but it might have to weight 4500lbs

Not at Delaware. They make the teams not changing anything to remove weight and go through all the troube of resetting corner weights. Which, when you had an OEM Stock car, was hard to find weight to remove in the first place.
You know, that ABC thing might be fun as a one-off event for starters.
In theory, its cool, but I'm having a hard time imagining it being like that every week.

and so the SS costs have gone up...and now the trucks cost have gone up to where they are quitting...and now guys that would move up from the lowest class, mini stocks, dont move up because it costs too much and/or start spending like crazy too...10 grand for a cheating 4 cylinder to win $150...racing isnt fun anymore for alot of people...
