😉 Jeff w. I can't find the like button ,but that's what I've been saying for along time ,a guy does his home work and gets his car working, improves his driving skills and gets faster and he gets penalized for it. Not far or rite....This is racing,if the car passes tech then the others need to step up their game not shoot the guy that has done the work.
I agree 100%. Beat the guy because you are better than he is. Don't beat him because he is penalized or because you took him out. Anyone can do that. "In order to be THE MAN you have to beat THE MAN"
I notice on the Del site that the enduro/bone stock are not part of the rule freeze. My opinion is the entry level classes should be frozen so a newcomer can use his car for three years or sell knowing it's good to go.
I disagree with a weight penalty. If a guy has built a car that can legally pass tech, why does he get a penalty for the time, effort, talent he has put into his car? Why don't they actually just penalize cars that do not meet the rules instead of a slap on the wrist or warning?
Totally agree with the above statement. Based on the poor credit counts I doubt much can or will be done to curb those who are always defiant of the rules.
Who is running and or working tech in 2013?
Just trying to get some constructive discussion before the meeting.
1. Appears there's interest in more 4 cylinder racing.
2. Some agreement cars shouldn't be left on the track.
3. Nobody cares about tires but me lol.
4. Weight is a touchy subject. My thought is this is a starter series & I think the top 5 cars from 2012 could run more weight & still kick butt. Our intentions are to run it about 2-3 years & move onward & upwards. No intent to spend $7000 on an Enduro car & therefore not likely to place top 5 anytime soon...the weight suggestion was a thought for the guys that are finishing in the top 15.
5. Good suggestion on freezing the enduro rules, although my guess is the bonestock class is evolving too fast to commit to 3 years.
Mini stocks will be on the card atleast 2 times this summer one set for june and the smasher again.
As for watching mini stocks at delaware im not sure how it looks from the stands because im in my car 🙂 but the top 10 have an avrage lap time of 23 sec roughly. witch is just about the avrage for most of the enduro class so you cant say they run slow. 😉
i would love to see a few more shows added intime because i like running there.
