JRDriver....... I really thi k u need to look at ur times cuz there wasent a bone stock that ran a 24. The fastest I seen was a 24.4. Most ran 25.5-27.0 laps so ya they slow. Not saying that I don't like them cuz I have one and will run it but they slow compared to my enduro car .
Slower classes, like 4 Cylinder/mini stocks require more car count to make it interesting. I do feel they are needed for many reasons, mainly bringing new people into the track. I've ran some of the faster cars out there for other teams, and my own. I have yet to see a mini/4 Cylinder break the 24 second barrier. Until you get a solid 30/40 cars, it's unlikely to see them in a regular Friday show full time.

not that it matters much to the discussion, but the fastest 4 cyl at the open race in 2011 and 12 was right near 23ish seconds (according to mylaps)

Yes, there was two I think that broke the 24's, but I'm talking regular guys, regular runs.
