I would think there is a pile of confusion, mainly from the fact thatthere were a lot of unwritten rules we usually abided by. The Enduro rules haven't drastically changed, but there was a pile of lee-way in some major areas. As for the "enforcing the rules" mantra we have been given, I see very little change in our class. I am going to call the track on our rim debate, and get a response. I do know they respond in a fair manor, and time frame. I can say, this is one spot the rules do need a revamp (the rim situation).

I for the life of me can't see what the debate is over on rims. DOT was about as simple as it got. You remember the KISS acronym? It's amazing how common sense gets lost along the way.

Maybe I am wrong but I still don't see it, maybe they changed them since you last looked.  I printed them off and re-checked, different section maybe?

Under the Weight and Handicap section, just after Towing loops

Could be the new rules will be cheaper than a better track ????

Jim the rule originally was no racing rims at all, and 90% of the racing rims ARE DoT. It was not in our original rules, and it was clarified at a pre-race meeting. Easy on your panties buddy... they're bunching up there 0-0 😀
