The Circuit Pro Tour invades Cornwall Motor Speedway next weekend!
Cornwall, Ont – Saturday, January 24, 2015 – Martin Bélanger – The racing season starts earlier in 2015 at Cornwall Motor Speedway as the Circuit Pro Tour will invade the speedway for a 3-day weekend event next week on January 30, 31 and February 1st.
Several categories of snowmobile will be in the pits over the next weekend as great speeds will be reached on the quarter mile which will be the shortest track visited over the winter schedule, spectacular racing is expected throughout the weekend. Four wheeler and motorcycle racing was recently added to the schedule.
The Pro-Champ, Outlaws, Formula 500 Open, 440 Vintage, Single Cylinder Mod Open, Junior 340 Open along with the 4-wheeler and Motorcycle will be on hand during the weekend.
The Pro-Champ category will be the one to watch over the 3-day event with three finals including Friday night under the lights, the veteran and well-known driver Jacques Villeneuve will be at Cornwall along with the talented Jason Lavallée from Quebec, Cole McMichael from Ontario and the American Travis Patocka, the upcoming star in snowmobile, Sabrina Blanchet will compete in several classes.
The Cornwall have been working hard in last month to prepare the best racing surface possible, the high bank corner have caused a few headaches but the track is ready and will provide a great challenge for the racers and great entertainment for the fans that will be on hand.
Action will start of Friday evening at 6:30pm with 8 classes in action, the events will start at 10:30am on Saturday and Sunday. Cost of admission will be 20$ on Friday and Saturday and 25$ on Sunday, a 3-day weekend package is also available for 50$. The cost includes full access to the pit area.
