Jason Lavallée gets the win the Pro Champ feature in the inaugural Circuit Pro Tour event at Cornwall

Cornwall, Ont – Friday, January 30, 2015 – Martin Bélanger – Cornwall Motor Speedway got back life earlier than usual with the first night of three as the Circuit Pro Tour made their historical stop at the speedway, several classes were in action during evening including the spectacular Pro Champ category. Loiselle Sports was the main sponsor of the evening

The big event of the evening was the 10-lap Pro Champ event with Jason Lavallée taking the lead over Sabrina Blanchet, Lavallée had a great lead over Blanchet and took the easy win to start off his weekend. Lavallée had also won both heats.

Steven Marquis got the jump in the Formula 500 feature event, the young kid of 17 years old never looked back and took the event. Marquis also got the easy win the heat.

Shawn Ford continued his great night in the motorcycle category by dominating the 8-lap eventFord won the second round with Robert Labelle won round 1

In the 8-lap ATV feature, Yves Samson got the early lead with  Jean-Francois Moffet in second place, Samson was alone on the speedway winning the event of Moffet; Samson had a perfect night winning the heat race.

Tim Habbard had a great night winning both the feature and the heat races in the Outlaw.

Cole McMicheal was the winner in round with Steven Marquis in the Semi-Pro Champ qualifiers

Stephane Desormeaux won round 1 with Paul Mailloux got the win in the second round in the Single Cylinder events.

Troy Dodds won both rounds in the Vintage 340

Danick Lambert got the win in the Junior 340.

Action will continue bright and early tomorrow morning with all the classes in action with more drivers will be added to all classes. The first rounds of heats will start at 10:30am.
