Canada Day Extravaganza kick starts July at Cornwall Motor Speedway!

Cornwall, Ont – Sunday, June 28, 2015 – Martin Bélanger – A very busy month of July lies ahead for Cornwall Motor Speedway with Canada Day Extravaganza kick-starting the 7th month of the year.

Canada Day Extravaganza will be the first of five shows scheduled in July with the second round of the Bandit Motorsports Sportsman Challenge, a 100-lap event for the Sportsman along with 25 laps Pro-Stock, 35 laps Semi-Pro, 25 laps Mini-Stock and Vintage as the Modifieds will have the day off. Racing will start at 3pm!

On July 5th, the Danny Lefebvre Memorial 25 with highlight the evening along with the autograph and photo session at intermission time. The 25-lap Mini-Stock race is a remake from June 21st, over $3,250 in purse and bonus money for this race!

The Modifieds will be on the spotlight on Sunday, July 12 with the 2nd round of the Bandit Motorsports Canadian Nationals with a 100-lap feature event that will also accumulate points towards the Super Series Starter. A dash for cash along with a complete race program will be on the schedule.

Sprint Car fans will be pleased to see the Patriot Sprint Tour making their first of two stops at Cornwall on Sunday, July 19.

The Canada-USA Lightning Sprint Challenge will conclude the month on July 26 along with the final event in the Ultimate Pro-Stock Series with twin 25 events.

With the month of June now in the books, we can now celebrate the Bandit Motorsports Performer of the Month for June. Chris Raabe won in the Modifieds, with Justin Lalancette being on top of a 3-way tie by collecting the best average finishes in feature event. Ghislain Valade collects the award for a second month in a row as Adam Delormier and Mike Gaucher are winners in Semi-Pro and Mini-Stock.

With five event during the month and several visiting series and classes, race fans will have different choices for the upcoming races!
