He hasn't been entered as a PE car, though...
The reason for the points issue for D.J. is they registered him as "D J" instead of "D.J." for a race and the NASCAR stats person has not made the correction.
does anybody know who's engines are in dj's car? is he underpowered? or is it just lack of setup info? don't get me wrong i think he is doing great staying out of trouble and finishing races i know he can drive but i wish they weren't 5mph slower on the intermediate tracks. maybe it's because they use the down force cars and the cup teams are so good at tweaking the bodies. in that case a nationwide COT is badly needed.
if everyone had to choose a or b what would you do with your sponsor money if you are a team?
a) run a whole season in a series with mediocre stuff that is guaranteed not to win and hardly ever be on tv
b) take the same amount of money and run only 1/3 of the events and buy the best machines from one of the cup teams with the best engines and have the opportunity to run in the top ten and maybe steal a win and have more tv time and be talked about on tv which will increase his exposure.
i'd take b. not implying that it's that simple or possible for dj but dj's situation makes me think about it. what would everyone else choose?
