Dale Jr. won the 1st Duel
Kenny Wallance and Brian Vickers(spin & "win" so to say)...as both of them "raced there way in"
Kurt Busch will use the champions provisonal due to engine problems
Tire's still look to be a bit of a problem many guys showing cords
Sadler eneded up in the turn-4 wall due to a tire going down.

Since Kurt uses the champions provisional Bill Elliott fails to make it.
Also means Dale Jarrett will have to race in.
Not much of a fan of his, but after what he went thru last year and being that its his last 500, I'm pulling for him in the second race.

Nice job JV . Maybe there was a reason no one wanted to give this guy a ride in Cup .
