Not quite. 2008 owner points don't take effect until race 6, so they've got some work to do in maintaining a top-30 spot and qualifying on time for the next 3 races.

We were just reviewing the standings...he's around 13th if you look at Nationwide only drivers!
If he was only racing against nationwide drivers that would mean something but he is not so what difference does it make?

mhm, I'd think they will be preety safe next week..I don't expect a lot of cars to haul out to Vegas like what was the case in Cali.
so a solid run there, then even if the miss one of the 2 races after...they still should stay in the top 35 and be locked.
