Boyer GM Named Brighton Speedway
Official Crate Motor Dealer

For Immediate Release

Boyer GM in Napanee has signed on as the official crate motor supplier of Brighton Speedway for the 2012 season.  "We would like to welcome Boyer GM into the family of Brighton Speedway sponsors and we look forward to working with them to not only increase their business but supporting our racers with an affordable engine program" states track promoter Mark Rinaldi. "Keeping the cost down for our racers was the number one factor in choosing our supplier and working with a reputable dealer like Boyer made the decision that much easier".

Boyer GM Napanee, Parts Manager is a long time racer and supporter of Brighton Speedway.  Mike Freeman was part of the program when it was at another area dealership and saw firsthand the benefit of working with the racers.  "After selling engines to the racers we would have a lot of drivers come back for parts support and even to buy new vehicles on the relationships you build, it is definitely a win - win situation for us." says Freeman.

Brighton Speedway Pro Stocks and Canadian Modifieds must buy there GM 602 Crate Motors from Boyer GM where the engines will be double sealed on site with Brighton Speedways technical Inspectors before the driver is even able to pick his motor up.  "Our sealing process and tech inspection of these crate motors is keeping everyone on a level playing field and with engine costs of just over $3000.00 almost anyone can afford them."  Brighton Speedway Pro Late Models are governed by DIRTcar sanctioning and are able to purchase their 602 or 604 engines anywhere but are encouraged to take advantage of the great pricing at Boyer GM.  Boyer will sell the 350 HP GM 602 crate motors for the low cost of $3,360.00 and the aluminum head 400 HP GM 604 Late Model crate motors for $5,460.00 for the 2012 season.

Workman Automotive Machine Shop still remains as the approved repair shop for Pro Stock and Canadian Modifieds, "It is not often that these bullet proof motors need repair but when they do we like to have them repaired in a controlled environment where Speedway Tech officials can insure that the motors are being repaired back to GM specs and with GM genuine replacement parts.  Then we are right on site to seal the motors up before they are handed back to the drivers," states Rinaldi.  Late Models must contact DIRTcar tech officials when repairs are needed.

Drivers interested in the sealed crate motor program or looking to buy a new motor can contact the Brighton Speedway office at 613-475-1102, email info@brightonspeedway.com or Mike Freeman at Boyer GM 1-800-267-8467, email mfreeman@boyergm.com.  Racing is just a little over 3 months away so don't delay getting your GM crate motor for the 2012 season.

Don't forget Brighton Speedway's Winterfest Oval Ice Races take place Saturday, September 11th at 11:00 am.  Snowmobiles, 2WD and 4WD four wheelers, Motorcycles (Ice Bikes) and enduro cars all take to the 1/3rd mile iced oval for a day of fun and excitement.  For further details on this or other upcoming events please visit www.brightonspeedway.com.
