I see the CBC says that X Copper legal services is in big financial trouble, did the track get the sponsor money in advance?
I hope so!
I would hope so too. Although on a much smaller scale I certainly would never think of putting a sponsors name on my car unless I had payment in full. Hopefully they have done the same!!
It happens all the time it seems in the smaller racing series. How many companies have not given the money to the series, tracks or drivers?
I guess the lesson that should be learned is get the moeny up front trust no one.
I heard something about X-Copper being in trouble before the season even began. I would assume that the track would have caught wind of this and asked for some money in advance! Otherwise it looks like the track is going to have to step up and pay the fund on their own~ Cause they can't just not pay people.
