Wheres Daves report. For those of us that cant make it to barrie on a sat. night because of commitments to another track we really look forward to his report.

I just checked my email and no race report from Dave yet.

last night was my second time at barrie this season,the racing was great except for a few drivers,congrats to the winner of the thunder car feature rick walt hell of a wheel man,but really needs to thank the officals of the track for giving him 13 laps of yellow so he could get his car back running,from a first lap wreak strating dead last to the front in no time at all car was hooked up,than the llm great racing all thought the feild,a few bumps one being on lap 3 when the 33 drove in to the leaders left rear,making the save of the night was 02 of shawn murry completey side ways when he saved it,than the big one was one the last lap coming to the checkers,the 19 got in the 10 coming out of 4 and spinning down the front straight the 48 had no ware to go and got cliped buy the spining 10 sending him hard into the wall backwords,hope both the 10 and 48 were ok lots of damage to both and the win was the 02 i believe his 4th in just his rookie season great job.

Ya sorry guys for no report last night, time just wouldnt allow for it.. Been busier than a dog with two peckers this weekend!! ;D And no time really to provide a report now but can do a fell set of results for Sat/Sun action at Barrie..

LLM Feature #2 == 1st #02 Shawn Murray, 2nd #69 Al Inglis, 3rd Hallyburton, 4th Baker, and 5th was Quesnelle I think. More on this race a little later!! 😉

Thunder Cars == 1st #10 Rick Walt, 2nd #80 Doug Shakell, 3rd #21 Desi Walt, 4th #44 Dave Doucette, 5th #24 Leonard Johnston.

Heats wins went to Doucette with a pair, Rick Walt, and #00 Darryl St. Onge.

Pure Stocks == 1st #11 Adam Misener, 2nd #77 Mike Gettliffe, 3rd #9 Charlie Smith, 4th #400 Justin Holmes, 5th #1 Ralph Sikes.

Heats went to Smith, Misener, #06 Ryan Hardy, and #57 Ryan Toon.

Sunday Sept 2

LLM Feature #1 == 1st Ron Quesnelle, 2nd Thayne Hallyburton, 3rd Shawn Murray, 4th Al Inglis, 5th Gord Shepherd.

LLM Feature #2 == 1st Shepherd, 2nd Inglis, 3rd Murray, 4th Hallyburton, 5th #33 Dave Lewis.

Thunder Car win went to #10 Rick Walt for the weekend double and his 9th feature win in 16 races. 2nd went to Doucette, 3rd to #39 Travis Hallyburton, 4th to St. Onge, and 5th to Desi Walt.

With only a 10 car field as opposed to 16 the previous night they cut out two heats, so the two heats we did have went to Walt and Doucette.

Pure Stocks == 1st #14 Billy Melenhorst, 2nd Charlie Smith, 3rd Mike Gettliffe, 4th #3 Randi Sequin, and 5th #06 Ryan Hardy.. I will add that it was a great drive for the 3 of Sequin who finished 4th, her best career finish, and she was 2nd coming out of turn 2 in the final lap and just perhaps got a lil over excited and got partially crossways as both Smith and Gettliffe careened past for position.. Great run though RANDI!!! Nice to see new people running up front!!

Heats went to Smith, Gettliffe, #11 Adam Misener, and #400 Justin Holmes.

After a bit of a wreckfest on night 1 of the weekend but there were only two feature race cautions in total for the Sunday show covering all three divisions and they both came in the Thunder Car race.. That's all I got for now, hope to have more of an actual report up for both events sometime tomorrow.. Have a good weekend........... FROM THE CHEAP SEATS!!
