Just a really brief synopsis and a few results from what was a great night of racing once again at BSW.. Both the Thunders and 4 Bangers went caution free, and there were 2 cautions in both the LLM 30 lap features I think..

LLM Feature 1 went to the 48 of Baker, who passed teamate #02 Shawn Murray for the lead on the outside of turn 1 with just two laps remaining..Murray held on for a strong 2nd place result, while #33 Dave Lewis, #57 Ron Quesnelle, and #10 Gord Shepherd rounded out the top 5.

Speaking of Shepherd he would win the 30 lap finale to the evening, marking his first feature win since the opening race of the season. Gordie, initally took the lead inside of Inglis in turn 3 but saw the pass negated after Lewis and Murray collected between turns 1&2. On the restart, Shepherd cleared Inglis after another solid 2-3 laps door handle to door handle. The 57 of Quesnelle made a late race charge to pass Inglis between turns 1&2 for 2nd, as Baker followed that move and took 3rd one lap later.. Give the win to Shepherd, 2nd to Quesnelle, 3rd to Baker, 4th to Inglis and 5th to CRO's own "Hurricane" Thayne Hallyburton.

As mentioned earlier the Thunders went caution free as #00 Darryl St. Onge took the win after charging from his 7th place starting position to take the lead from #77 Brian Murray on the outside of turn 1 on lap 18. Murray, would collect his 2nd podium in as many weeks with a season best 2nd place finish. #55 Shawn Goggins would also record a season best in finishing a very strong 3rd, while #44 Dave Doucette, and #10 Rick Walt rounded out the fast five.

Heats went to Doucette with a pair, Murray, and Walt.

In the 4 bangers it was sophmore sensation #400 Justin Holmes who captured the win from his 9th place starting position in the 20 car field. Holmes, would capture the point on the outside, driving past #09 Dean Curry on lap 7 and would not look back from there. Second career feature win for the 16 year old with the margin of victory being a near full straightaway over #14 Billy Melenhorst who continued his impressive string of results with another 2nd place showing at the checkered. The 09 of Curry would hold on for 3rd, with #15 Will Davies and #57 Ryan Toon rounding out the top 5. Of note the point leader heading into the event #11 Adam Misener broke on the opening laps, while the 9 of Smith finished outside the top 5 for only the 2nd time this season coming in 6th or 7th if I were guessin..

Heat wins went to Holmes, Davies, Smith, and Misener..

Sorry for the bit of a chincy report once again folks but duty calls .. Expect a full report for this race, as well as the Garry Reynolds Memorial night to be completed by Monday at the latest.. Enjoy the weekend everyone... FROM THE CHEAP SEATS!!!
