awesome racing at barrie saturday night, #12 and #14 thunders, you guys put on a great show. sure am glad that i have picked barrie for my home track. down side of the night was #69 in late model. was simply a rookie trying hard and pushed up into #69, and when #49 driver tried to say he was sorry after race it was not to nice of reply from #69. i guess we all can not be pro drivers like al, maybe he should join the elite group south of barrie.

I echo that Jim, first class door to door! The lap car deal is a part of racing its unfortunate that it happened but it is what it is...I think we gave the people their money's worth and i know I had a blast so in the end that's all that matters...

lookin' forward to next weekend.

Ya Mike is a really nice guy.. I'm suprised Al had that kinda reaction towards him..Maybe it was just bad timing.. When did he try to apologize?? At the end of the night?? I think Al was a little cheesed off that they gave Quesnelle his spot back on the last lap of the 2nd feature.. I dont know what he could be mad about there though, to me it was pretty clear the 69 dumped the 5. That whole deal kinda confused me.. For one the race ended under caution?? I HATE that. Should always be at least one attempt at a green, white, checkered in my opinion. And then the 69 also got credited with 4th place?? Should of been back of the lead lap at the very least and also trying to finish the race under green..

What happened to your car Don?? Seen you duck it to the infield in that 1st feature... Glad your enjoying the Barrie track..

Thanks don, a little understanding goes a long way. I just figured that every driver was a rookie at some point and so would sympathize with rookie mistakes but I guess that isn't the case, wishful thinking on my part I guess. I won't blame Al for his reaction, it was a fairly intense situation and I can understand his frustration. I fully admit it was my fault, I was just pushing harder than my limited experience would allow. All in all though I am having a blast and in between crashes and spins I feel like I am doing okay. Be patient with me and hopefully I can re-learn this whole racing thing, this definitely ain't my ol' four-banger 😛
