Ingredients for a successful race track imo...1) Owners who care about racing. 2) Money 3)Facility to run 4) Drivers who are addicted to this sport. 5) Heart, Pride and sense of family. 6) Fans MUST HAVE ALL OF THESE IF ONE IS MISSING WILL NOT RISE!

Yeah zero I was thinking about Dilley and his involvement last night. So really this is the second time for him. And yes a lot of people forget that.

barrieboy I totally get where you're coming from. You and I agree on a lot of stuff for sure.

marcisfan, I agree with some of what you say, but I've always thought of KD / PB / Mosport as their own market as they are a few hours away. That's a funny place too, like here, they have had a bunch of speedways down there.

It almost seems to me like a perfect storm with a bunch of different factors has come and really done some damage.

Maybe some of the owners need to look at the Spedeworth model in the U.K. I think that Peterbourough, Barrie, Mosport, Cayuga and maybe a few others could benefit from this type of plan. Basicly they have one set of rules at all of their tracks, and they run on the premise that it is better to have fewer shows that are very well attended at each track than to strugle every week with poor car counts and attendance. These guys are a huge success in a country that does not really care for stock car racing. 😉
